Picasso at the Lapin Agile by Steve Martin
October 11th at noon. At the Oso Productions space, 1409 Sudderth Dr
Set in 1904 at a Parisian café, the play collides the renowned scientist Albert Einstein, just as he is about to transform the world of physics with his theory of relativity, and Pablo Picasso, as he is introducing cubism to the art world. A variety of memorable characters take the stage as these two icons debate art, science, and the century ahead. Culminating with a charismatic dark-haired singer time-warped in from a later era.
Our Mission
We are a community theatre for everyone. Designers and directors will invent, artists will risk, and audiences will be immersed in new and familiar plays in our wonderful community.
Feel emboldened, entertained, and intrigued.
“Great theatre is about challenging how we think and encouraging us to fantasize about a world we aspire to.”
